GOOD QUESTIONS. Straight answers.
Before the first fetch, a few things worth knowing.
01Will pet turf take care of odors on its own?
Pet turf does not take care of odors on its own. Good drainage, regular cleanup and routine maintenance all play an important role in keeping the yard clean.
Keep up with regular rinsing and cleaning based on how your pets use the space.
iCARE DEPENDS ON THE FULL SYSTEM.
02How do you clean pet turf?
Pick up solids as you would on grass, then rinse the area with water. For a deeper clean, TurfIt's care instructions call for a mild solution of low suds household detergent in hot water, then a thorough rinse with clean water. How often depends on how many dogs use it and how hot it gets.
03What matters underneath the turf?
The complete installation matters. Talk through your existing ground, drainage, base preparation, seams and edges with your installer; your branch can refer you to a recommended one. A product sample alone cannot tell you how the finished yard will drain.
04What about hot days?
Artificial turf can become warm in direct sun. Plan shade and access to water, check the surface before play and move pets off the turf when it is too warm. Ask your branch about your site's exposure.
05Can I see a sample before choosing?
Ask your selected branch about samples and current availability. Comparing the feel, blade profile and backing in person is a useful next step before ordering.
06Can you help with a dog run or a larger project?
Tell us how the space will be used, roughly how large it is and which branch is closest. Your branch can review the project and discuss product selection and the next steps.
